Natural Convection Between Parallel Plates — Lesson 4

This video lesson discusses the convective heat flow between parallel PCBs or radiator structures. A parallel plate configuration can be either vertical or inclined. In the vertical configuration, the direction of the buoyant force is vertical, while in an inclined configuration, the buoyant force has two components: streamwise and normal to the surface, resulting in strong secondary flows.
