Hand Shaping A Wood Conical Table Base

Watch me shape this custom conical table base. Such a fun shape to make.

Had an idea for a router fixture that would shape the cone but decided to use my good old hand plane and the Festool Rotex. Worked great 👍 👌

Woodworking and furniture making has a lot to do with efficient removal of material. Turning one shape into another. Sometimes you're limited to the tools you have or your current skills but thats part of the fun. Having to figure it out 🙂🙂👍
