Brook Trout Catch and Cook // Algonquin Park Bull Moose and Eastern Wolf

My buddy Scott and I travelled to the Northern parts of Southwestern Ontario in search of some Brook Trout. After a good soaking from the all day down pour we split some cedar wood to cook our shore lunch. A couple weeks later, in the middle of the COVID pandemic, we travelled North to a friends property to set up a base camp to allow us quick access to the west side of Algonquin Park in search of more Brooke Trout. Shortly after we launched the canoe we encountered an Eastern Algonquin Wolf. We fished along the way as we travelled down the Tim River, made it across one portage, paddled a little further to find the river was too shallow to carry on. We turned to head back towards the portage only to find a Bull Moose wading in the water. Quietly, we slowly made our way through the winding stream and got as close as we could to capture the majestic beast.
