Depending on where you are in the world, varying by country, state, province, city or region, you’ll likely be experiencing different phases of re-opening around you amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. You might be able to continue to work remotely, and if so, great. But for those in certain areas of industry, public service, education, trades…the safe return to organized sport and PA at every level is a part of it.
Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses found mostly in animals. In humans, they can cause diseases ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS). The disease caused by the new coronavirus has been named COVID-19.
Although there is a lot that we don’t know, what we do know that this disease it is very contagious and that Air flow/circulation is a very important component for the transmission of coronavirus through the air. Besides disinfecting, social and physical distancing when possible, we need to due our due diligence in wearing face coverings in all settings that are appropriate.
