By this point The Sixteen had been established for 25 years and there was no let up! With the inception of the Choral Pilgrimage series in 2000 and setting up CORO, The Sixteen’s record label, in 2001 they were breaking boundaries and surpassing expectations, having been told both ideas would bankrupt them! This was a decade of branching out to new and wider audiences and seeing more people enjoy what The Sixteen had to offer. 2002 brought with it the astounding collaboration with James MacMillan, originally commissioning a setting of the prayer ‘O bone Jesu’.
