A couple months ago it was announced that Sony Pictures Animation cancelled Afterworld: Return Home, a brand new animated film by Matt Braly (creator of Amphibia) that was co-written by Rebecca Sugar (Steven Universe,) which would've seen a teen boy traveling to the world of Thai spirits in order to cure himself just before undergoing a very scary & life altering operation necessary to live. Thankfully in a twist of fate, the film has been SAVED by The Monk Studio, a Thai animation studio that wants to bring the story to life and complete Matt's vision! Let's talk about it!
