In this documentary about Republika Srpska, RTD provides rare pictures of Bosnia’s Serb enclave and lets Bosnian Serbs give their version of events surrounding the Bosnian War and its consequences.
RTD drives around the Sarajevo countryside with former entity President, Milorad Dodic, now part of Bosnia-Herzegovina’s ruling Praesidium, as he shares his frustration with Western rule of the country. Butcher-or-Saviour General Ratko Mladic’s son, Darko and convicted official Moncilo Krajisnik denounce the bias of the International Criminal Tribune for the Former Yugoslavia.
RTD also visits Andricgrad, the city of culture, founded by world-famous film director, Emir Kusturica and his “biggest achievement”. A nominal Muslim from Sarajevo who returned to his ancestors’ Orthodox faith, Emir Kusturica built Andricgrad to heal relationships in the region through art.
