Winter Finesse Bass Fishing At Vygaboom Dam / Angler 4 Angler Competition

This winter competition video was help out at Vygaboom dam. Vygaboom dam is out in Nelspruit South Africa. This dam holds some of the biggest bass in the country.

This competition video was hosted by the Anglers 4 Anglers trail. This was leg 6 of our yearly bass fishing competition. This competition out at Vygaboom dam was on the 6th July 2022, this is the mid winter and south africas toughest time to catch bass.

In winter time this is where the finesse presentations come out and you need to fish very slow. Finesse in winter time is key to getting some of those tougher bites. Vygaboom was one of those dams where the finesse bite was necessary.
