Online Course Creation Process Part 1 of 2
In this video I will show you what are the components of an online course creation process. For creating an online course, you need 4 components. The first is the content, then the skills required by a course creator and software required and finally you need to host your content on any platform. The first three are discussed in this video and the hosting options will be discussed in the next video.
There are various formats for online classes and the type of content you create will depend on the types of class format you chose for your online courses. Video is the most popular content type, then you will have to create some PDF documents, some word document, some quizzes and surveys for your course. You should take a survey at two stages of your online course creation process. One is before you start developing your online course and then as a formative assessment where you want to get some insight about your course. Because the online course development is a lengthy process and demand a lot of effort, you must understand that there is a demand for the course. For taking surveys, I recommend the use of survey monkey which is a fantastic tool. You can also use Google forms.
You should also learn how a video editor work. I use Hitfilm Express for video editing. Also for the audio of your lectures, you need to learn Audacity. I will also show you how I create a text background behind myself using Hitfilm express and my favorite tool canva.
