Ever Alot arrives to the Port of Felixstowe right on her wind limits, 4 tugs assist. 21st March 2023

Ever Alot 12.4 metre draught from her last port of Rotterdam   pilot onboard 1500 at the Sunk. Planned port side alongside Felixstowe FSR 8.
4 tugs
1st at 7&8 centre lead aft
2nd at the Platters  Starboard quarter
3rd inside harbour bow to bow centre lead forward
4th inside harbour starboard shoulder make fast
2   80 tonners outside and the 2   70 tonners inside harbour.

As the Ever Alot is a mega max 24 vessel, consideration for the weather has to be taken seriously.   She was sailing in at very close to her limits with wind of 24 knots so if it piced up to above those limits the pilot would swing her around to starboard on the beginning of the flood tide  then decide if it's safe enough to berth. If not she will go back out to the Anchorage and await better weather conditions.  10 lines each end so 8 and 2 with springs first fore and aft    

A decision was made to have a 5th tug to come over from Ijmuiden Netherlands for her departure on Thursday as winds would be above the threshold for 4 tugs
