1987 ProCo Rat 2 - Is the vintage pedal hype real?

The Rat Distortion pedal is one of THE most famous in the world and the rats from 1987 are apparently some of the best ones made. I don't know if this has the legendary LM308 chip but I don't care... it is insanely fun.
