1928 HITS ARCHIVE: I Can’t Give You Anything But Love - Ben Selvin (Vaughn De Leath vocal)

“The First Lady Of Radio” De Leath is featured with the Selvin band on one of the most popular tunes to emerge during the latter part of the “roaring ‘20s.” This Dorothy Fields & Jimmy McHugh hit was featured in the Broadway musical revue “Blackbirds Of 1928” and spawned other successful recordings by Johnny Hamp, Cliff ‘Ukulele Ike’ Edwards, Gene Austin, Seger Ellis, and Nat Shilkret.
