What is a Minimal Viable Product?

The goals of an MVP are to provide a realistic experience to a limited number of users in order to have a working product in the hands of users. The MVP will lead to the first refinements, provide investors and users an idea of whether or not the app will be successful and useful. The MVP is a minimal investment of time and money on an unproven concept.
MVP definition or description - The product that in the shortest time can create value for one or more users on a continuous basis
