Our AMD R7 2700X vs. i7-8700K testing mostly focuses on gaming and Blender rendering/benchmarks, but we also dive into livestreaming with Twitch or YouTube. The idea is to stress-test multitasking in realistic use case, hopefully finding the best CPU for streaming in the process. We also spend time overclocking the new AMD R7 2700X CPU, which gives us time to talk about memory overclocking and the stability of frequencies beyond 3600MHz cold boot on the R7 2700X. Most importantly, we built a volt-frequency table for the lowest stable voltage that 4.0GHz can be maintained on both the 1700 and 2700X, providing a unique, important look at one of the only major differences with Ryzen 2 vs. Ryzen 1.

We previously benchmarked the AMD R7 1700 vs. 7700K for live streaming, but the 2700X changes things a bit -- primarily with higher frequency and XFR2.
