A Halal restaurant at level 5 of Menara Shell near KL Sentral. Basically the food is European cuisine with little twist of Asian flavours as owner/Chef Chai told me.

Restaurant is spacious and outfitted with modern décor and ample lighting. It allures a cosy and happy dining ambience. The table is placed in a distance from another where conversation is only heard at your own table. Great.

We ordered 3 dishes to share. Mushroom & Prawn Aglio Olio (MYR37) was presented very nicely. Portion was small. The spaghetti was firm but not hard. I could taste the aroma of the garlic and chilli. It was not overly oily – just nice for my palette. Prawn was fresh.

Wild Caught White Fish (MYR48) was plated beautifully. It was pan fried. Pea puree was smooth. Potato noisette was cruncy. The fish went well with rostit sauce because it was little bland on its own. The mizuna was very greeny and fresh. The coleslaw kraut adds a little punch to the whole dish.

Black Gold (MYR30) – the thinly cut truffle fries was not either oily or salty. Came with truffle burnt butter sauce with gold leaves. Liked the sauce.

Crème Brulee (MYR19) – if you love sweet dessert, this is it. Rich, sweet and creamy.

For drinks, it was in the class of Masterchef kind of presentation. Very Instagrammable. Cumber Cooler (MYR16) – simple ingredients of cucumber, lemongrass and limes create such a refreshing drink. Love it. Wicked Ginger (MYR16) – a concoction of orange juice, ginger, turmeric and honey. Very unique flavour
Maple Pecan (MYR15) – a rather sweet mixture of maple pecan and milk crème.

Copper is a kind of restaurant you find dishes that are simple but good. The combination of ingredients unique yet delicious. Every dish we had was beautifully plated. Service was friendly yet unobtrusive. No service charge.
