Sam (KaDee Striclkland from Fever Pitch) discovers Gordon paralyzed by the spider bite, as he tries to make her understand with his eyes that he has seen the anaconda. She doesn't understand what he wants to say to her and leaves him alone and joins the others. An anaconda drops down from the rafters and swallows Gordon alive soon after she leaves the building. The others arrive just as it finishes, so Bill sets the building on fire in hopes of killing the anaconda, but notices that it has already made its escape. Jack (Matthew Marsden) uses the commotion to steal the raft. With no more material to make another raft, they have to hack through the jungle to beat Jack to the orchids and retrieve their raft.

What’s the movie Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid about?
Deep in the mysterious jungles of Borneo grows a rare flowering vine, the blood orchid. An American pharmaceutical company believes that enzymes produced by these blossoms could double the life expectancy of humans. Expecting to make billions of dollars on a blood orchid drug, the company sends a team of scientists including the company founder (Morris Chestnut from Boyz n the Hood and The Perfect Guy) to collect orchids for research. The scientists arrive in Borneo in the middle of the rainy season with the local rivers at dangerous levels for travel, but this is the only way to the orchids. The pharmaceutical team hires a sly captain (Johnny Messner) and his old riverboat for passage into the jungle. After three days of travel, the unstable waters cause the riverboat to take a one-way trip over a 100-foot waterfall. The scientists lose most of their equipment and face a long trip back to civilization, but they discover gigantic anacondas that delay their journey.
