Toy Story was a massive part of my upbringing and even returning to these films now brings back that nostalgia magic. But one thing is for sure, is that the films still have that quality in terms of Storytelling. Toy Story 2 had a really rough productions and Ed Catmul discusses in his 'Creativity inc' book the struggles to fix the story and release the film on time. This video is how PIXAR managed to save Toy Story 2 and fulfil their aim of no releasing a B product. The video focuses mainly on screenwriting as thats the main issue they tackled to save the film.
