Jeffery Dahmer the "Milwaukee Cannibal"

Jeffrey Dahmer (1960–1994), also known as the "Milwaukee Cannibal" or "Milwaukee Monster", was an American serial killer and sex offender. Between 1978 and 1991, he murdered, dismembered, and often subjected 17 men and boys to cannibalism and necrophilia.

Childhood: Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and raised in Ohio, Dahmer was considered a quiet and socially isolated youth. He developed a morbid fascination with animal bones and taxidermy at an early age.

Adulthood: As an adult, he struggled with alcoholism and homosexual urges, but was generally perceived by co-workers as a polite, "boy-next-door" figure.

Trial: He pled guilty to his crimes by reason of insanity, but a jury found him sane. He was ultimately handed 16 life sentences in 1992
