Don’t Put-Off This Fire System Checkup

While we have extended downtime before the racing season begins, take the opportunity to go out to the garage and address some of the things on your car that you usually keep on the backburner.

One of the imperative areas to address is your fire system. Just making sure your bottles are filled is not good enough. Take the time to ensure that the lines are in good condition without cracks or debris and most importantly, that the activation cables are functioning properly and that you can actually use them when needed.

In this video, Tim takes you through the fire system and details the activation mechanisms and best practices for mounting your fire bottle handle. PRO TIP: Put the handle where you can actually use it and practice!
