Saying Goodbye To My Dog | RIP Brando My Beautiful Border Collie 30/9/2014

Brando was my beautiful Border Collie who would have turned 12 this December. At age 9 he started to have seizures which the vet said is likely due to a brain tumor. His seizures were mostly controlled through medicine. In the last 24 hours of Brando's life, things took a turn for the worse...he couldn't stand and appeared to be limping. He made his way to the back of my property and lay on the grass...he didn't want to come inside as he normally would, and my husband said he may be trying to tell us something.

I had a sinking feeling so I said my goodbyes, and took his dinner and water to him.

The next morning Chris told me he had to get to a vet quickly. Brando was having multiple seizures that night and could hardly move. We made the decision that every pet owner faces and we knew it was the right one; we weren't going to let Brando suffer or go through more treatment.
