diy refrigerator & microwave in bumped out wall

My husband and I are DIYers so when we bought our 1970's house it had a small kitchen with a stove and refrigerator right next to each other and the refrigerator was just to big for the room. Our garage is attached to our house so we knew we had space to bump out the wall into the garage to house the refrigerator to make more floor space plus have more cabinet space. We had a box built out for what we thought would be a wall oven as well as the refrigerator but life happens and we never got around to it. Our microwave was taking up prime space as well so we made a small box to hold up the microwave and enclosed it with enough space for it to still vent and added some stainless steel trim to finish it off. A great idea if you have a space behind your kitchen that you don't use like a breezeway or garage like we did. We did have someone do the electric. We can change outlets and light fixtures but not add outlets, we leave that to the professionals.
