Hiiiiiiiii Everyone!!!!!!!

I love clothes almost as much as i love makeup...and thats a lot. I filmed a lookbook at the end of 2016 and i loved it but i dont know why i never filmed another one. So i finally decided to film one and partnered up with Jeff Melgar. If you dont know Jeff, you might have seen his work if youve kept up with the high production videos that are produced at ipsy and by the in house creators. I fell in love with his production eye when i would watch Chrisspy’s halloween videos.

I got the idea for the lookbook from watching the show Pose on FX (if you havent seen it just know youre missing out! An amazing: show, cast and message). I know that in the show working at a peepshow isnt a glamorous job but i liked how it was all behind glass as someone watched at their own discretion. I was very “high everyone” and started to think how youtube is kind of similar to that: Someone on the other side of the screen being watched with no physical interaction, a connection can be made, the viewers payment is the view and if you wanna see more you watch more….does that make sense? So i wanted that idea but i wanted to have it be about clothes and fashion. I gave this idea to Jeff and this is what we came up with. The set up, the visuals, the cinematography, the editing and even the music choice was Jeff and i am beyond obsessed with this collaboration. I love editing and filming my own videos because I’m very particular and picky but its like makeup: you can be picky and great at your own makeup, but sometimes you see other artists and want to see what they can do to your “face”. So i brought my face and my extra af energy and looks styled by one of my best friends Jesus Guerrero (@jesushair). I love clothes and have a good eye for putting things together, but my friend Jesus has way better style and picked and styled all my outfits in less than one hour…..i struggled to even think of what i wanted to wear for a whole 2 days lol.

The majority of my outfits were pieces from ASOS except for the designer pieces. If y’all want me to link everything i can but a lot of the pieces from Asos are now sold out but i wanted to show outfits that are affordable with some cute-ly priced items thrown in from time to time 😜
