Spinning and recovering a glider (ASK23)
ASK21s are not prone to spinning but ASK23s are often quoted to be single seat K21s. They really are not. An ASK23 will spin very readily - just like most single seat gliders. This is demonstrated by spinning from a thermalling turn where the speed is allowed to fall to the stalling speed and correcting for slip instead of correcting by increasing the speed.
