Travel from Bangkok on a STEAM TRAIN! Unbelievable cheap day out in Thailand

Did you know you could ride on a steam train from Bangkok? 6 times a year the State Railway of Thailand puts on special services pulled by two trains that haven't been used for regular runs since 1950!

The trips start at Hua Lamphong Station in Bangkok, and go to places such as Nakhon Pathom, Ayutthaya, and today's destination which is Chachoengsao.

The trains leave at 8.10am and the return ticket is about 300 THB.
