(Remake) How to Make an Indigenous Taiwanese "Dangan" Deadfall Trap (石版陷阱)

This is a remake of a old (kinda) video that I made on the dangan. When I made that one I still had summer school so I was short on time which made me rush through the process.

In this video I show you how to make, and set up an Indigenous Taiwanese Deadfall Trap.

The Indigenous Taiwanese Deadfall Trap ("Dangan" in the Seediq language, and "Rangiy" in the Atayal language) is a trap that the indigenous people of Taiwan use to catch small game such as rats or squirrels. Nowadays it is mostly used by the central mountain range tribes such as the Atayal, Seediq, Truku, and Bunun, as they have retained much of their hunting traditions as it's a major part of their cultures.
