NatMEG lecture: Introduction to MEG (vs EEG) instrumentation by Stephen Whitmarsh
This is a recording of the first lecture of the MEG-EEG workshop held at the Swedish National MEG facility (www.NatMEG.se). The lecture is given by Stephen Whitmarsh, postdoctoral researcher at NatMEG.
The purpose of this talk (and the workshop that followed) was to familiarize the participants of the workshop with the differences between MEG and EEG, to allow them to translate their EEG knowledge to the field of MEG. The level of description and explanations is for a lay audience (and speaker), and contains over-simplifications (and most probably some factual errors).
A scripted video on MEG instrumentation can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPj4jJACeIs
