Course playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqsoWxJ-qmMvXloaDmW9RB_4KrsUdg5Zz

Binswanger defends perception against three major attacks on its validity, including arguments based on optical “illusions” and hallucinations. He explains what is wrong with the view of perception known as “representationalism” and why one needs a proper grasp of difference between the objects perceived and the form in which they are perceived. The lesson includes an important discussion of the longstanding distinction between appearance and reality.
