USA: Engineered Arts unveil revolutionary new robot 'Ameca' at CES 2022

UK-based robotics company Engineered Arts unveiled their newest humanoid robot Ameca at the CES 2022 in Las Vegas on Wednesday.

The human-like robot is designed to capture the imagination of what a futuristic humanoid-robot should look like," explained Engineered Arts product manage Marcus Hold.

Engineered Arts' website describes Ameca as: The world's most advanced human shaped robot representing the forefront of human-robotics technology designed as a platform for AI development.

"I feel that it captures people's imaginations of what a future robot should look like and that is where we are with Ameca," Hold went on to say.

Engineering Arts claims Ameca's platform is the perfect for human to robot communication.

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2022) takes place in Las Vegas from January 5 until January 8 2022.
