What is the B2 level? (CEFR for Languages)

B2: Advanced or Independent Level - That’s it! After all your efforts, you are finally at ease with the language. You understand all conversations, you can attend a conference and contribute to it and take part in meetings at work. A conversation with a native speaker doesn’t cause any stress for either party. You express yourself easily, naturally and effectively. You will, for example, be able to:

- watch a film without subtitles and will understand the sens;
- read the newspaper;
- defend your opinions;
- express hypotheses;
- write a report or essay;
- construct a logical argument;
- give a presentation;
- read a short, modern prose text.
