NEW PETE ROCK REMIX of LADY WRAY | BASTID'S RECORD OF THE WEEK

Every week on the Tuesday Morning Coffee program (airing live on Twitch every Tuesday from 10AM-3PM EST), we choose a record of the week and a song of the week. Last week, we chose this BANGER, a vinyl-only (for now) number: Lady Wray "Joy & Pain (Pete Rock Remix)" [Big Crown Records]. Pete Rock remixes have been a golden stamp of approval for decades, and this remix lives up to that precedent. The other side of the record is great, too, as Ghostface adds a verse to "Piece Of Me", the title track from Lady Wray's fantastic album from which these two original songs come from.
