Top democrats evacuated from DNC HQ during anti-war protests
Protesters, who are calling for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war, clashed with police outside the Democratic National Committee headquarters in Washington. US Capitol Police said in a statement on X that 6 officers were treated for injuries and one person was arrested for assault on an officer. IfNotNow, an organization involved in the protest, also released a statement on X saying "protestors non-violently blocked one entrance" and "police violently attacked them." #israel #ceasefire #dncprotest #hamas #cnn #shorts #news
