MAGA Fans Duped By Fake Celebrities To Buy Worthless ‘Trumpcoins’

Conservative social media sites have been flooded with fake accounts purporting to be celebrities, and they are pitching a worthless currency called "Trumpcoin" on the most gullible in the audience. These fake accounts are claiming that the coins are going to skyrocket in value once Trump is reinstalled as President, something that isn't even possible under U.S. law. But the MAGA fanbase is incredibly foolish, and they are stocking up on the coins as fast as they can. Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

As the old saying goes a fool and his money are soon parted. And that seems to be what's happening with the manga cult over on right wing social media. As a group of fake celebrity accounts, you know, accounts, you know, disguised to look like celebrity celebrities, including by the way, Kirstie alley, Mel Gibson, even Denzel Washington. And of course, none of them are actually running those accounts. It's not the actual celebrities, but they're encouraging these die hard Trump fans to invest their money in something called Trump coin, a completely worthless form of currency that has Donald Trump's face on it that they're selling for $30 a coin. And these accounts are telling these Magda fools act fast. Today's the last day to get your Trump coin. Oh, and by the way, here's the major selling point. They're telling them once you buy this coin, and then Trump is reinstated into the white house, you know, re-installed, as the president, they're going to jump in value.

These things are going to be worth thousands, maybe even tens of thousands of dollars. And then don't, you look like the smart guy with all your little Trump coins out there, then you're rich. And all you got to do is buy him now for the low, low price of $30 a coin. These phony celebrities say, and Kirstie alley has actually had to come out and say, yeah, I'm not pushing Trump coin. That's not me in that account. Uh, don't, don't listen to this, but it's too late. The damage is done and see folks. Here's the wonderful part of this story. And I know it seems weird, right? People are getting scammed. That's not wonderful at all because these coins are effectively worthless. They're absolutely worthless. But this shows you how gullible these mega fans are. The queue people who are also snatching up these coins and it shows that they're literally willing to believe anything at all, right?

These coins are gonna skyrocket in value when Trump has re-installed, that's not a thing that can happen. Donald Trump cannot be re-installed as president of the United States, any more than George W. Bush or Barack Obama could be, or Jimmy Carter for that matter. That's not a thing that could happen, but they believe it. And they want to believe it's so badly that they're willing to literally fork over their cash in the off chance that these conspiracies could be true. And to me, what this story tells us is that there is no hope for these people. I don't think you can talk them back off that ledge. They have now devoted their lives to this. This is who they are. This is what they are. This is what they believe with every fiber of their being. It is a cult. It is absolutely without question a cult. So maybe if you

Had these, you know, skilled psychiatrists out there who specialize in deprogramming individuals, maybe you can get some of these people back, but we do not have enough mental health experts with those qualifications in order to really make a dent in this particular movement, these people are going to follow Donald Trump to the ends of the earth. If he tells them to jump off a cliff, they're going to do it without hesitation. He is their dear leader. He can do no wrong. He is infallible and they'll do whatever he says because of those reasons. It's sad. I mean, honestly, it's sad. It really is to think that we have such a large portion of the U S populace that is buying into this crap. I mean, both figuratively. And literally at this point, they're literally buying it and the hucksters are going to come in the shysters, the Grifters, everybody trying to capitalize on the gullibility, stupidity and desperation of these individuals. I tell ya it was a cash market folks. There is absolutely big money to be made duping, these gullible manga hot wearers. And as long as there's money to be made, the Grifters are going to keep fueling the crazy because it moves them into bigger houses.
