Ang Huling Plastic - Documentary Film
Big corporations and decades of neglect have turned the single-use plastics pollution into a plague that might now be too monstrous to contain.🥤 They say hope floats, but in an ocean full of plastic waste, can it ever see the light of day? 🌊
ANG HULING PLASTIC is a feature-length documentary, (divided into five chapters) that takes an in-depth look at the single-use plastics problem that has been plaguing our environment for decades. From the sanctuary-turned-dredges of Freedom Island in Manila Bay to the monstrous garbage patch in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, this film examines how gravely plastic, as a material, has changed the world.
In the end, Ang Huling Plastic aims to spread awareness, spark discussion, and inspire its audience to make change… and demand change! Because for us to see the last of single-use plastics, it might take nothing short of a revolution to get it done.
Narrated by Kapuso TV personalities, Maey Bautista and Betong Sumaya, and directed by RA Rivera.
