Bharatiya Kisan Union Warns Government to Stop Lip Service & Take Real Action

Farmers in U.P, led by Bharatiya Kisan Union staged a protest on July 31, 2017. They mobilised to put pressure on the government to address the agrarian crisis including loan waivers up to Rs 1 lakh.

If the government is not ready to meet their demands, "2019 elections are not far away", they warned.
