Getting A Locomotive That Hasn't Run in 50 Years Running Again

I was sent in this tyco mantua steam locomotive from a viewer who said it hadn't run in over 50 years. I tested it out and it wouldn't start, this was likely due to almost every contact inside the loco being covered in oxidation. The locomotive was disassembled bit by bit until I could access all the areas which needed attention. Everything inside was in good shape which would suggest that this engine wasn't ever run a whole lot. I would guess the story of this loco probably goes something along the lines of, being built and sold in the early 1960s, run for a few years and then put into storage without accumulating too many miles.
