With our Viking Ocean cruise review, we provide our feedback across several different categories. From embarkation and disembarkation, to main dining room food, and daily activities, our cruis review of Viking Jupiter gives you our honest take on this Viking Ocean Cruise Ship.

Given that Viking Cruises is a luxury line, we held Viking Jupiter to a higher standard than we typically have for contemporary cruise ships. Still with these greater expectations, the ship delivered and even exceeded what we were expecting from the trip.

The ship was beautiful, and the functional and elegant public spaces were the perfect backdrop for exploring the ports of call. The cruise director staff provided just the right mixture of enrichment and entertainment, with regular shows and musical acts throughout the ship.

For the most part, dining was 5 star on our Viking Ocean Cruise ship. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of casual dining options, including the upgraded choices in the World Café and Mamsen's. Specialty dining on the ship was also fabulous. We enjoyed our dinners in the included venues Manfredi’s and the Chef’s Table.

Our veranda stateroom was well appointed. From a size and design stand point, it was on par with most cruise ships. It was the little features, such as extra outlets and USB ports near the bed, the over-sized bathroom with heated tile floors, as well as the comfortable and elegant bedding and furniture.
