Raging Waters San Jose: Closed Again - and What's Coming Next

Raging Waters San Jose is closed for the entire summer of 2026. The city brought in a new operator, Lakeside Partners, to upgrade the 23-acre water park next to Lake Cunningham on the East Side.

This is actually the second closure in just a few years — the park also sat out 2024 after Palace Entertainment ended their lease. Lakeside is promising expanded water features, new interactive play areas, and a more modern setup overall. No firm reopening date, but the target is summer 2027. Action Sports Park and the rest of Lake Cunningham Regional Park stay open in the meantime.
