2020 Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition and Sport Line Revealed: Fastest Ever Type R - Inside Lane

This is the new 2020 Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition, the fastest variant of the FK8 hot hatchback yet. Power from its turbocharge 2.0-litre VTEC engine has remained the same, but it is now 47kg lighter thanks to a lack of air conditioning and navigation. New BBS alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Cup 2 tyres give addition grip, potentially making this car the fastest of its kind around the Nurburgring. Just 100 car will be coming to Europe, 600 to America.

A second variant of the Type R has also been revealed in the form of the Type R Sport Line. This car lacks the huge rear wing synonymous with the FK8. It get softer suspension, Michelin Pilot Sports 4S tyres, and more soundproofing for a quieter drive.

Pricing has yet to be announced for these hot hatchbacks.
