Is VW involved in shady businesses between China and Myanmar's military junta? | DW News

There’s new evidence that Sinotruk, a Chinese truck manufacturer partly owned by a Volkswagen subsidiary has done business with the military in Myanmar, which is accused of human rights abuses and sanctioned by the EU and US. Deutsche Welle speaks with Savanna Slaughter, the author of the report about the evidence, what it shows and what it means for efforts to scrutinize global supply chains and investments.
