Part 6 of our low budget EV conversion series sees us designing and building the battery box for the Mini.

Here at OPTO we have been involved in big budget EV conversions for a couple of years now - but we’ve always thought that there must be a lower budget option. This is why we decided to build the lowest budget EV conversion possible - we already had the “Rat Look” classic Mini so it made sense to convert that! Follow the series for an open and honest documentary on our attempts at a super low budget build including all the ups and downs along the way.
