This Islamic Religious Education (Theory) paper consists of two sections, A and B, containing a total of 28 questions. Section A has 20 multiple-choice questions, and Section B has 8 structured questions. The examination is marked out of 100, with an allocated time of 1 hour and 40 minutes.
The exam assesses learners on the core areas of Islamic knowledge:
Qur'an and Hadith:

Akhlaq (Morals and Manners):
Core Islamic values such as modesty (Haya'), consultation (Shura), and respect for parents (Birrul Walidayn).
The importance of intention (Niyyah) in acts of worship.
Islamic manners related to social interactions, such as visiting homes and relating with neighbours.
