Just Transition Seminar (ENG)

The transition to a climate-friendly economy is not a purely national challenge. This is nowhere more apparent than in the EU, where the European Union’s transition to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 is a big challenge, but also a massive opportunity to modernize the continent’s economy and promote growth, employment, technological advancement and social inclusion. Transformations are taking place across the EU and are a mutual European challenge. The goal of the event is to offer opportunities for exchange on different strategies and approaches, including current challenges and proven solutions.
𝐉ü𝐫𝐢 𝐌𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐤𝐚 (journalist, ERR) will moderate the knowledgeable panel:
𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐚, Head of development at the Association of Local Authorities of Ida-Viru County, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐚 𝐊𝐫ü𝐠𝐞𝐫, Head of the division for structural change at the chancellery of Saxony-Anhalt, 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐤𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐠, Managing Partner at Global Gas Networks Initiative (GGNI) and founder of the Energy Delta Institute.
They will share their knowledge and insights about supporting energy transition and economic transformation with examples from their own countries and answer questions from the live and online audience.
