Early ground effect vehicle Type by Günther W. Jörg. Tandem Airfoil Flairboat made of wood
This manned prototype was the private Flairboat of engineer Günther W. Jörg. Yellow 2-seater was extensively tested in rivers, lakes and costal areas.
With this Flairboat, all necessary conditions were met, that were needed for
the official application. An Airfoil-Flairboat is classified as Type A wing-in-ground-effect craft, strictly bound to the corresponding water surface. Under the rules of IMO it is registered as motorboat.
The special construction is selfstabilizing and handling very easy.
