If you're considering automating a process in your business then you must first realize that the ROI is not instant. In our experience, it takes anywhere from 3-6 months to realize the full value of automation. The main reason for this is that there is significant transition work that needs to be done from both the process and the people.
The second thing to consider is which processes to automate. If you catch yourself doing something over 3 times per day, then it should have a positive ROI to automate. This could be client communications, following up with leads or even quote preparation.
