🚀 This course “Project management in Revit”, will present how real-life Revit projects have used the Tool Dynamo - to calculate working hours and working costs.

To simplify things - let's take the construction of a small hall as an example.

Your project, which you want to convert to 4D and 5D, may look different; contain a lot more Revit-Families and building elements.
We will take a small project so that it is easier for us to track how data from 3D goes into 4D and 5D.

Let's assume this hall is 30m. long and 18m. wide, single-aisled with a small mezzanine area?.

We use three types of pillars here. The external pillars are 300x400 millimeter, the corner pillars are 400x400 and three pillars have a console.
The foundations are in two different sizes. 4 corner foundations with dimensions 1800x1800, and other foundations, which are slightly smaller.

Furthermore, we also have two joists on the consoles and a 200mm. concrete ceiling. Roof structure will be completed by trusses.

This is a small project with 7 Revit families. The file for Revit 2020 you will find attached to this video

Using the example of a small project, we will consider the assembly costs and assembly times of each process or building element.

This can also be production costs and production times in the production phase or planning costs and planning times in the planning phase.
