Remove Unused Project References | Visual Studio | Short Programming Tips #Shorts

When writing code, we often add NuGet Packages. Sometimes these packages remain unused but still be part of our solution. As our projects grow in size, it can be difficult and time-consuming to find out and remove these unused packages and references.

Right Click on the Project, and select “Remove Unused References”.

This will bring up a Dialog box that shows the projects and unused packages. You can choose to remove or keep the unused libraries.
Removing unused project references can help save space, reduce your application's startup time, and avoid having the compiler load metadata that will never be used. If nothing else, it’s one less thing to care for.

Go check out how many unused libraries you have in your project.
