DJI Mavic Mini - 4,000m (13,123ft) range test out at sea

I wanted to test how far I could fly my mavic mini drone out to sea. I set the max distance in my DJI app to 4,000m (4km) / 4,374yds and I set off.

I received a few low signal warnings along the way, but I managed to reach my target distance. now that I think about it, I should've actually set my max distance a little further cause I'm sure I would have been able to achieve slightly longer range.

I will try again soon to reach the 5,000m mark, but I would need perfect weather conditions and a slight breeze to help the drone return if anything goes wrong.

It's a big risk flying out over the sea. If something goes wrong or battery runs dead it could easily disappear for good.

I really am impressed with the performance of this little 249g mini drone. It lives up to my expectations.
