During the star-studded trailer launch of Housefull 5, Akshay Kumar addressed a pressing question about Paresh Rawal’s unexpected exit from Hera Pheri 3. Rawal’s abrupt departure had previously led to legal tensions, with Akshay’s production house issuing a ₹25 crore lawsuit. 

In response, Akshay expressed his deep disappointment, revealing that he was emotionally affected by Rawal’s decision. Director Priyadarshan, who has worked closely with both actors, shared that Akshay was visibly upset and questioned, “Priyan, why is Paresh doing this to us?” 

However, recent developments suggest a resolution. Paresh Rawal has returned the signing amount, signaling a willingness to settle the matter amicably. This gesture indicates that both parties are working towards mending their professional relationship and moving forward. 

As of now, the Hera Pheri 3 project is set to proceed with the original cast, including Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty, with shooting scheduled to begin between August and September.
