Our NICU Story: A Video Compilation
We are beyond grateful that our story had a happy ending with a NICU graduate. This video is dedicated to all the sweet NICU warriors who never made it home.
To accompany the telling of Lee's NICU story, I thought I'd share this video I edited for Lee (and for my own healing) a couple of years ago. The song I used is "I Get To Love You" by Ruelle and it portrays how we feel about our NICU graduate, Lee, so very well. We are so grateful for the NICU staff for going above and beyond to ensure he was able to go home with us and also to make us, his parents, feel as comfortable as possible. Thank you to our parents for being there for us throughout our NICU stay. Thank you to my husband, Joe, for stepping up as husband and new dad in more ways than I ever could have imagined.

*NEW VIDEOS EVERY TUESDAY AND FRIDAY!*
Yello'! I'm Ashley and welcome to my lemonade stand. Don't worry, I won't be selling you any actual lemonade here. I'm just a 30-something wife and mom who is trying to make the best of the lemons we've been handed recently. This YouTube channel was born out of a strong desire to connect with others on all kinds of topics, which all stem back to mental health and quality of life. In this community that I hope to cultivate, we skip the small talk and dive deep into meaningful and transformative conversations. These videos will ask for your active participation as together we explore, evaluate, muse, meditate, and strive to be the best versions of ourselves; for ourselves, for our loved ones, and for the greater good. It sounds like a lot, but I promise, with my personality and outlook, nothing will ever be too weighty or cumbersome. Alright, are you ready? Start by subscribing!
