Throughout 2022 - early 2023, On the Morning You Wake (to the End of the World) was used for research conducted across a series of screenings - including one with Florida A&M University’s School of Journalism & Graphic Communication (SJGC) program - marking the first partnership with a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) for Games for Change. “On the Morning You Wake (to the End of the World)” is a virtual reality documentary that captures the voices of the people who experienced the real and imminent threat of nuclear weapons. “On the Morning You Wake” (OTMYW) immerses the audience in the first-hand experience of citizens in Hawai’i to make clear the fundamental injustice of a world where nuclear weapons exist.
